The Football Scout Consultancy (FSC) is a specialist organisation committed to developing the next generation of football scouts, analysts and talent evaluators. Our mission is to make high-quality scouting education accessible, practical and relevant—across both the men’s and women’s game.
We offer structured CPD-accredited learning pathways, real-world mentorships and advisory support for clubs and individuals. Our approach combines traditional scouting values with modern insights, ensuring learners are prepared for the evolving demands of the game.
Whether your goal is to work in academy scouting, senior recruitment or football analysis, we’re here to help you take the first step.
Our Story
The FSC began with a simple idea: to make football scouting more accessible, modern, and connected to real opportunities. Founded by Sam O’Sullivan Barker — whose scouting journey has taken him from grassroots football to clubs across Europe, Oceania, and beyond — The FSC was born out of lived experience in the industry and a desire to give others the pathway that didn’t always exist.
Alongside Jonathan Craig Watson and Owen Cowell, The FSC was built from the ground up with a commitment to opening doors. What started as a small team with a shared vision has grown into a global community of scouts, interns, and professionals all working to raise the standards of video scouting.
We’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be to break into football. That’s why our mission has always been more than just delivering quality scouting reports — it’s about mentorship, opportunity, and creating real-world pathways into the game for those who have the passion and work ethic to succeed.
This is our story — and we’re just getting started.
